Kirkwood EOC Station Improvements

bulletInstall a shelf under table to hold various equipment. - KD0HF
bulletAdd a power strip under the table and clean up power cabling.
bulletPurchase and install individual speaker for the radios.
bulletConvert the ATV radar to an RF channel that can be displayed on the EOC monitors.
bulletInstall an RS-232 switch and cables between the computer and the 3 radios and packet TNC.
bulletInterface the Packet TNC to the right hand D700 radio.
bulletPurchase and install the following software: Interwarn, Stormlab, D700 program (Link700), TS-2000 program, Echolink, PSK31, Packet terminal program (TBD).
bulletInterface the computer audio to the HF radio to support Echolink, PSK31 and  ??.
bulletRebuild the 80/40 dipole to resonate in the upper SSB voice band (near 3970-3990 and 7250)
bulletReconnect the HF Phone Patch - Needs an interface to EOC phone system.

Long Range Plan

bulletUpgrade the packet station to 9600 baud.
This will require an add-on board to the existing TNC, a crystal controlled UHF radio on 441.100/446.100 and a UHF or shared VHF/UHF antenna.
bulletSupport a Voice Repeater linked to the state-wide linked repeater network.
This system is still under development. The location of such a repeater is TBD. Locating a repeater downtown would assist in event communications, but may not offer the coverage desired for a repeater linked to the state-wide fiber-optic network.
